The Luxembourg Association of Translators and Interpreters (ALTI) is a non-profit association (ASBL), governed by Luxembourg law. It was founded on 25 March 2011 and is registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number F 8.682.
The entire content of the ALTI website is protected by copyright under the Berne Convention and the Luxembourg law of 18 April 2001, as amended. Any full or partial reproduction is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of ALTI.
The purpose of the ALTI website is to provide the public with information on the translation and interpretation professions in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
ALTI endeavours to verify and update the information published on its website but cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information supplied.
Although it has carefully selected and checked the hyperlinks published on its website, ALTI accepts no liability for the content of external websites to which it has provided links for purely informational purposes.
The use for advertising purposes of any information pertaining to members, such as email addresses, is strictly prohibited, pursuant to the Luxembourg law of 30 May 2005, as amended, concerning the specific provisions for protection of the individual in respect of the processing of personal data in the electronic communications sector, transposing European Directive 2002/58/EC.
ALTI systematically and carefully checks that potential new members satisfy the requirements for admission to the Association.
